SAAVEDRA, RUDY D. Passed away on 7 May 2014 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born 17 June 1947 in Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Saavedra; brother James Saavedra; and son, Eric Lovato. Rudy was a member of the Sagebrush Community Church, served in the Army in 1969 and was a member of the Moose Lodge. He was married to his beloved wife for 34 years. Rudy was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Vigil Saavedra; sons Robert Buckner and wife Lori, Jay Lovato and wife Joy; daughter Lynette Houck and husband Danny; grandchildren Jeremy and Crystal Stafford, Tre Lovato, Ericka Buckner, Kimberley Buckner, Tyler Houck, Dustin Houck, and Corina Houck; great-grandchild, Laana Stafford; brothers, Wayne and Michael Saavedra. Burial will take place on Thursday, May 15th, 2014 at 2:15 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
