PEDIGO, WILLIAM "BILL" Age 75, a resident of Albuquerque and Dixon, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014. Bill is survived by his wife of 53 years, Bernadette; daughter, Julie and her husband, Frank Archuleta of Albuquerque; son, William and wife, Judy of Tijeras; five grandchildren, Maggie Pedigo, Stephanie Cloven, Violet Pedigo, Chris Archuleta, and Michael Pedigo; five great-grandchildren, James T. Hopper, Robert Cloven, Leryssa, Lexxya, and Lysee Lovato; brother, Charleston Pedigo of Tijeras; and his extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his two sisters, Diane Bryant of West Virginia and Sandra Wurdemann of Colorado Springs. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was loved by all. Bill served with the 82nd Airborne Special Forces. At the age of 21, Bill joined the Albuquerque Fire Department and retired in 1986 as District Chief. Following retirement, he was the Chief of the Dixon Volunteer Fire Department for three years.
