 KIRMER, ARTHUR C. JR. (ART) Age 91, of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, May 7, 2014. He is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Rosa Kirmer; daughter, Nelly Maria Kirmer of Albuquerque; son, Irwin Kirmer and wife, Shari of Evergreen, CO; sister, Karla Hartley of Valley Center, CA; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and multiple nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Kirmer was born in Seattle, WA and joined the Merchant Marines, serving during World War II. Upon discharge, he joined the Civil Air Administration, later the Federal Aviation Administration. While stationed in Panama, Mr. Kirmer met and married his love, Rosita De Gracia. Interment will be on June 5, 2014, 1:30 p.m., at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. A celebration of Art's life will take place on June 6, 2014, 3:00 p.m., at home.
