FRANCKE, FRIEDRICH H. "FRED" On May 8th after a lengthy illness Fred went to be with the Lord. Fred is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Phyllis A. Francke; daughter Sarah K. Francke; grandsons Christopher and Jason St. John of Garner, Kansas; son Erich L. Francke and wife Susan of Hobbs, NM; granddaughter Brittan R and husband Nicholas Maggio of Houston, TX; grandson Dustin L. and wife Oriana Francke of Charleston, South Carolina. Sister Mary Ann Roberts and nieces and nephew of Flagstaff Arizona. Brother Edward Francke and wife Rolaine and nephews of Mt Pleasant Michigan. Niece Terry of Arkansas. Fred was born Jan 6, 1929 in Worland Wyoming where he attended Washakie High School in Worland Wyoming. After graduating Fred went to the University Of Notre Dame where he was a 1952 Graduate of his beloved Notre Dame. Upon graduating Fred Served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. Fred was an avid Notre Dame Football fan and enjoyed following all activities of the university. He was an active member of the Notre Dame Club of Albuquerque and held the position of club treasure for 40 years. Fred was an active member of the Palo Duro fishing club where he became a master fisherman. Fred loved to work in his flower and vegetable garden. Fred was preceded in death by his daughter Carrie Diane Francke of Columbia, Missouri, parents Walter and Hedwig Francke of Worland, Wyoming, brother Teddi Francke and brother Bob Francke of Worland, Wyoming. Fred was a member of Sangro De Cristo Catholic Church. Services to Be Announced.
