 SCHIRO, DOROTHY ELENA Age 92, passed away April 13, 2014 at her home in Edgewood, NM. She is survived by her husband Victor; two children: daughter, April Hein and son, Steven Herbek; grandchildren, Heather Nelson and Brendon Herbeck and two great- grandchildren. Dorothy, a young English girl, was born and raised in a Chicago Italian neighborhood. While living in Hot Springs, AR she belonged to the Coast Guard Auxiliary on Lake Hamilton. They moved to Edgewood, NM to be close to her family. Her memberships include: The Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and The Edgewood Garden Club, Monday Night DWTS club and the Friday Morning Coffee clauche. Dorothy loved spending time with all her family, friends, and pets. She will be dearly missed. Friends and family will gather at the family home on Friday April 18, 2014, between 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. to remember Dorothy's life.
