 HATHOOT, BETTY JO Age 80, passed away Tuesday , April 1, 2014 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born in Waldron, Arkansas on August 23, 1933 to Walter and Pearl Johnson, grew up in Wagon Mound, NM, lived her adult life in Albuquerque, NM. She was preceded in death by husband of 52 years Bill Hathoot, her brother Walter Johnson and sister Jane Vigil. She is survived by son Roger and wife Cynthia; son Steve and wife Trish; daughter Tracy Sawyer and husband Scott; her sisters Mary Edna Jacobs, Sarah Galassini; brother Kenneth Johnson; grandchildren Jesse, Wes, Nikki, Steven, Joshua, Justin, Rachael and Jamie. Betty Jo was a kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother who devoted much of her time caring for her three children, eight grandchildren and husband Bill. Memorial services will be held Monday, April 7th at Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 9502 4th street, NW 87114. Rosary will be held at 10:00am with Mass following at 11:00am, internment immediately following the Mass at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE.
