 DAVIS, ALLAN E. 65, of St. Petersburg, FL passed away at his home on January 3rd 2014. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, March 27th, 4:00 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church, 201 University Blvd, Albuquerque, NM. Memorial Donations may be made to the family towards a charity of Al's preference. "Big Al" was born on August 6, 1948, son of Allan Davis and Helen Howell. He graduated from Moline H.S. and the University of Northern Illinois. He was many things to many people: father, friend, mentor, confidant, or even just a steady rock to lean on. He was both a student and teacher of art which he immensely enjoyed sharing with others. He also loved being outdoors while traveling at whim to Mexico, camping in Alaska, making a road trip of North America (TWICE!), meeting strangers in Ireland, playing cards in Thailand, and being with family and friends. He is survived by his son, Brian Davis of Buckeye, AZ; daughter, Courtney Farley of Madison, AL; sister MaryAnne Michelet of Peoria, IL, and eight nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both parents and brother Robert Davis.
