 JACKSON, KEVIN SEAN MACDERMOTT Kevin S. MacDermott Jackson, 60, passed away March 12, 2014 after a 19 month battle with cancer (glioblastoma). He was born September 4, 1953 in Albuquerque, NM. In 1965 he moved with his family to Ft. Worth, TX. After graduation from UT Arlington with a BA in Russian and French, he worked in the construction field, becoming a skilled craftsman. After returning to Albuquerque in 2007, he worked with Armstrong Group, Inc. He was preceded in death by his father WBM Jackson. He is survived by his sons Joseph, Samuel and Nathan; step-daughter Karisa Murphy; former wife Melissa Jackson; mother Maxine L. Jackson; sisters, Peta (Bob) Caldwell and Kim (Russ) Hille; and Uncle Wm. V. Kastler; as well as his cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends who loved him. A Celebration of Life will be held in the chapel at La Vida Llena on Friday, March 21 at 10:00am.
