 GARCIA, BARBARA H. 8/28/42 - 3/13/14 Barbara H. Garcia "Redds", beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 13, 2014. She left us to be with her mother who passed away when Barbara was an infant. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Joe Frank Garcia; daughter and son-in-law Viola and Pierre Gonzales; son and daughter-in-law Chris and Denise Garcia; her grandchildren Noelle, Reece, Krysta, Jacob, Amanda, George, Kendall, Briana; and great-grandchildren Bellalia, Adam, Johnny, Roxy and Sonny. She retired from the FOP as an administrative assistant working under Dave Heshley. Redds loved the sun, a good scotch, her red hair and a good party. "I ain't here for a long time, I'm here for a good time". Services will be held at Calvary of Albuquerque on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 11:00 am. Celebration of life to follow.
