GEHRMAN, JOHN S. John S. Gehrman passed away at his home on March 3rd after a brief illness. He was 72 years young. John's life was notable for the legions of friends that he gathered to him throughout the years and for the impact that he had on their lives. No one who met him ever forgot him. He was renowned for his sense of humor, for the stories that he could tell, and for the stories that others could tell about him. He was also known for his generosity and his willingness to even give the coat off his back if he thought someone needed it. A longtime resident of Albuquerque, John graduated from Sandia High School and received a degree in History from UNM. He went on to work in Marketing for many years for AT&T, eventually retiring at the tender age of 47. He spent his retirement years looking for a hobby, finally settling on a budding golf career. He is survived by his wife Sherry; his brother Ed and wife Janelle; daughter Kyrstin and granddaughter Delaney; and his daughter Lori; son-in-law Michael; and grandson Connor. A Remembrance Party is being planned for a later date.
