 DELVALLE, CLARA Clara DelValle, 81, passed away peacefully at her home in Albuquerque on February 27, 2014. Clara was born in Roy, NM to her loving parents Jose I. Montano and Amalia Martinez Montano. Clara married her beloved husband Pete in 1950. They were married until his death in 2011. Together they had five children. Clara was a past member of the Women's Auxiliary of American Legion Post 99. She retired from UNM after working at the campus bookstore for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Pete, her sons Pete Jr., John, and infant son Anthony; her sisters Mary and husband Joe, Annie, and Lena; her brothers Fructoso and Fulgencio; her sister-in-law Natividad and husband Joe, brothers-in-law Romolo and wife Carolina, and Julian. Clara is survived by her daughters Inez Sisneros and husband Francisco, and Janet Wiggins and husband David; her grandchildren Andrea Wichman and husband Stuart, Rebeca Sisneros, Sterling Wiggins, and Jasper Wiggins; great-grandchildren, Esteban, Anja, and Ella; her brothers Aniceto, Mariano and wife Sally, Joe and wife Mary, and by many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends. The family is very grateful to caregivers Maureen and Lesly for their compassion and tenderness and to Hospice care of NM, especially Nurse Carol, Eladia, Edith, and Dr. Nolan for their exceptional kindness and support. Services will be held at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave., Albuquerque. Rosary and funeral will be Monday, March 10th. Rosary will begin at 12:30pm with Celebration of Mass following at 1:00pm. Interment will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on March 17, 2014.
