SEEGER, CHRISTINE A. Dr. Christine A. Seeger, born October 30, 1951, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy Boyd Seeger and Dorothy Helen Frost. She is survived by her son, Edward Satchel Seeger-Salman of Corrales, NM; sister, Leslie Kawek and brother-in-law Wayne Kawek, of Atlanta, GA. Dr. Seeger graduated from the University of Alabama in 1978 and did her residency at the San Francisco General Hospital, going on to serve as Chief Resident. During that time, she started a free program to provide psychiatric care for the homeless of San Francisco. Dr. Seeger practiced in New Mexico for 18 years. Over the last 14 years, she maintained her practice during her battles with cancer. She had a great love for her family and her work, and was a beloved member of Celebration Baptist Church in Rio Rancho, NM.
