ERICKSON, WAYNE ARLEN of Rio Rancho passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2014. He was born In Duluth, Minnesota on May 20, 1933. He was a proud Marine and served in the Korean War. Wayne was a contractor and he built hundreds of homes including his own in Rio Rancho. He was an aircraft pilot and he loved refurbishing and rebuilding cars. Wayne was also a huge Nascar fan. He is survived by his wife Barbara; daughters, Becky, Luann, Vicki, and Robin; sons Lance, Joe, and Craig; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Peggy. Memorial services will be conducted, Monday, February 17, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Sunset Memorial Park Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico, with Chaplain Lemuel Boyles officiating. Interment will take place at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in California on Thursday, February 27, 2014, at 1:00 PM. Cremation services are under the direction of the Neptune Society of Albuquerque.
