 CHAVEZ, ARISTEO R. Age 83, passed away February 7, 2014. He was born in Polvadera, NM on October 5, 1930 to Geronimo and Anita Chavez. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers Pedro, Richard and Jimmy Chavez. Aristeo is survived by his brothers Edward and Louie Chavez; sisters Andrea Barreras, Rachel Hutchinson and husband David, Belia Trujillo and husband Lucas, Priscilla Edwards and husband Bob, Rosie Chavez, Dorothy Chavez; sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Special mention to his loving daughter Rosie Carrion and husband Ron and granddaughter Renee whom helped and cared for him in his time of illness and death. Rosie was his best friend and loved him with all her heart and to his brother Louie who was his companion, friend and coworker. A visitation Sunday, February 16, 2014 from 3:00-4:00 pm and a Rosary recited by David Hutchinson at 4:00 pm at Holy Family Catholic Church with a reception following at the hall next door arranged by Andrea Barreras. Burial will be in Polvadera, NM on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 2:00 pm where he will rest in peace next to his loving parents. Aristeo a beloved father, grandfather, brother will be truly missed.
