TOSER, BETTY JUNE WHYTE Born on June 12, 1937 to Elizabeth and William Whyte in Lake Forest, IL. Betty died at the age of 76 on Jan. 28th, 2014. She was an extraordinary person. She graduated from Carlton College, Minn. She taught languages in high school and ran a corporation based on Christian values with her husband until they retired. Betty has dedicated her life to helping others and has served as Board Chairperson and in leadership for many non-profit agencies. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Thomas Toser; her daughters, Lesley Toser and husband Richard DeFelice, and Heather Toser. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Eliza and husband Jake, Seth, Patchen and Stacy. A celebration of Betty's life will be held on Sat., Feb. 8th at 2pm at the Immanuel Presbyterian Church (114 Carlisle Blvd SE, Nob Hill, phone 265-7628). All are welcome to attend! The family requests donations be made in Betty's name to the Immanuel Presbyterian Church.
