 MARTINEZ, DAVID N. Our beloved Father went to be with his Lord on February 2, 2014. He is preceded in death by parents Avenico Martinez, Julia Martinez, his wife of 64 yrs. Margaret G. (Gaillour) Martinez, daughter Elizabeth Ann Martinez, brothers Avenico Martinez Jr., Alfonso Martinez, Charlie Martinez, sisters Lita Montez, and Eloisa Dominguez, brother and sister in law John and Priscilla Gaillour, Michael and Riley Gaillour, Reynaldo and Lucy Gonzales, Reynald Gaillour, Mike Rogers and Frank Galindre. He is survived by his sister Bertha Maestas, sister in laws Marie Galindre and Anne Rogers, daughters Cynthia Kozlowski, Irene and Don Montoya, Juliana Martinez, Juanita and Mark Kilijanski, 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. David was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico on May 4, 1928, completed his High School Education at East Las Vegas High School and attended Highlands University where he focused on Business Management and Accounting. In 1961 David and his family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. For many years David worked as an insurance agent, but ultimately obtained as position as a Taxation and Revenue agent and District Tax Director for the New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department, retiring in 1984 to care for his ailing wife.
