HUMPHREY, GEORGE WILLIS age 85, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2014. He was born on November 16, 1928 in Georgetown Ohio. His family moved to New Mexico in 1944. On March 3, 1950 he married Anna Joyce Rigsby and was preceded by her death after 58 years of marriage. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by three sons, Gary Humphrey, Randy Humphrey, Rick Humphrey; one daughter Janet Bittle; five grandchildren, Alissa Macias, Jessica Humphrey, Daniel Humphrey, Rachel Humphrey, Aubriana Richardson; and one great- grandchild, Olivia Sexton. He leaves behind a legacy of humble kindness, always doing the right thing. Our hearts are heavy but out spirits are lifted knowing that he lived a long full life and his influence will forever be in our memories. Memorial Services to celebrate his life will be on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum.
