 SAMORA, FRANCINE SALAS Age 50, beloved wife, daughter, mother, sister, aunt, niece and cousin, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at home. Francine was born in Gallup, NM on May 17, 1963 and lived in Albuquerque, NM most of her life. She graduated from Manzano High School in 1982. Francine worked in the health care industry for over 10 years at UNM hospital as a physical therapy technician. In 1998 she moved to Rio Rancho to take guardianship of her niece and nephew Alicia Marie and Gary Ray. She then went on to get her Associates degree in business from the International Institute of Americas, graduating in 2007, a great achievement for her to share with her family. She was an excellent mother to Gabrielle, her only child, born April 9th, 1992 and raised her to be a beautiful young independent woman. Francine enjoyed traveling with her family throughout her life. She visited places like London, Germany, Mexico, and most of the United States. In her later life, she got involved with Calvary Church and made many friends. She joined a bible study group and a singles group, where she went on many retreats and grew a strong relationship with God. In October 2013, she married Robert Samora and lead a happy life. Francine is survived by her husband Robert Samora of Rio Rancho, NM; her daughter Gabrielle K Lopez; parents Celestino and Frances G. Salas, all of Albuquerque, NM; her brother Hector A Salas and sister-in-law Maria Provini-Salas of Springfield, MA; her sister Catherine Salas Baransky and brother-in-law Roger Baransky of Manchester, NH; nephews Aaron N Salas and wife Rosie of Houston, TX, Gary R Gamertsfelder (NM), Christopher B Baransky, Tampa, FL, Dylan M Baransky of NH; niece Angela M Brown and husband Jerry of Fairbanks, AK; niece and goddaughter Alicia G Lovato and husband Lorenzo of Albuquerque, NM; great-nephews Dominic, Jordan and Pierce Salas, all of Houston, TX; great-nieces Adriana and Miranda Brown of Fairbanks, AK; along with many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who were so special to her. Francine was preceded in death by her sister Loretta Salas Gamertsfelder and husband Gary Roy; nieces Marilyn R Meloy Salas and Stephanie Lynn Salas. Rosary will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 9:00 am at the Garcia Chapel. Memorial Service to follow at 10:00 am.
