MACIAS, LIBRADA "LIBBY" Libby lived a life of faith, peace, and moderation: April 21, 1914 - December 1, 2013. She was gentle, kind, and full of grace. She was a life-long devout Catholic. A naturalized citizen of the United States, Libby was a 10th generation descendant of one of the founding families of the colonial city of Aguascalientes in the state of Aguascalientes, Mexico. She was born on April 21, 1914 in Aguascalientes and immigrated to the United States in November 1916. Libby's parents, her husband, all of her siblings, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and all of her close friends preceded her in death. Survivors include sons, Robert and his wife, Betty of Amelia Island, FL and Richard and his wife, Pat of Chico, CA; daughter, Virginia of Albuquerque; sister, Josephine, CDP of Leavenworth, KS; granddaughter, Kate of the Netherlands; grandson, AJ and his spouse, Justin of Albuquerque; and great-granddaughter, Eva of the Netherlands. Libby's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the dedicated staff of Bee Hive Assisted Living of Taylor Ranch and Heartland Hospice for the exceptional care Libby received.
