BOGAN, LEROY ROGER, PHD. Dr. Leroy Roger Bogan 85, a U.S. Army Veteran and longtime resident of Belen and Albuquerque, died December 1, 2013. He is survived by his sister, Darlene Caldwell, of San Diego; many nieces and nephews including Faye Armstrong of Lansing, MI, Sandra Martin of Aurora, IL, Richelle Caldwell of San Diego, CA, and Jessie Bogan of Wichita Falls, TX; as well as dear friends, Dr. Alyce Kennedy and Stephen Curl of Albuquerque, Ron and Bonnie Johnson of Albuquerque, Dr. Charlotte Jensen of Albuquerque, Bill Donovan of Rapid City, S.D., David Madrid of Albuquerque, and Dr. Khalil Johnson of New Haven, CT. He was preceded in death by nine brothers and one sister. Dr. Bogan was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church, where a memorial service was held Saturday, December 7th. Interment will take place on December 20th at 10:30 AM, at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
