ROBINSON, LESLIE LEONARD (BUZZ) Went home to Jesus on November 10th, 2013. He was born on October 24, 1949 in Chicago, IL to Gordon and Frieda Robinson. Les graduated from Luther North High School, Lincoln Junior College and received a BA in architecture at UNM. He achieved his childhood dream to be an architect. He worked for years at Art Dekker and Lewis Weller. Les designed many Albuquerque buildings, also schools and health clinics on Native American reservations in three states. In 2001, he was awarded membership in the "Who's Who Historical Society" for renovation of the "Red Ball Cafe". Buzz played guitar in a band in high school and remained life-long friends with the other band members. Les is survived by his wife of 32 years, Diane; two daughters, Jennifer Hayward of Anthony, FL, Jaime Pursley of Paw Paw, MI; two step-sons, Guy Hon of Albuquerque, Heath Hon of Norman, OK; brother-in-law Warren Bunyard of Butte, MT; uncle Rudy Mayhak of Bensonville, IL; six grandchildren; Diane's niece Stacey Perez; many loving cousins and his kitty, Pearl. I'll see you soon my Lessy-poo. Cremation by Direct Funeral Services, 505-343-8008. Memorial service will be on December 10, 2013, 11:00am- 1:00pm at Calvary Chapel of Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna NE.
