HAY, DAISY B. 98, a resident of Albuquerque since 1917, died Friday, November 15, 2013. She is survived by her daughter, Daisy Humphries and husband, L.J. of TN; adopted daughter, Mary Jane Cape of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Deana Case, Jason Evans and wife, Andrea; great-grandchildren, Heather Rulf, Charles Case, Kendra Cook, and Isabella and Michael Evans; one great-great grandson, Ryan Kendall; brothers, Willard Randall and Perry Randall and his wife, Caroline; sister, Pauline Hughes; and numerous nephews and nieces and many friends. Daisy was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Hay; son, LeRoy Hay; parents, Raymond B. and Eva May Randall; two brothers; and three sisters. She was born in 1915 in Bloomington, IL and moved with her parents to Albuquerque at the age of two. Daisy graduated from Albuquerque High, Class of 1935. She married Roy Hay on August 16, 1935 and they were charter members of Edith Street Baptist Church which eventually became Parkview Baptist Church. Over the years she worked part time for her brother, Raymond Randall in his dry cleaners, University Cleaners, located at University and Central Avenues. Daisy had a wealth of knowledge concerning the history of the growth of Albuquerque which she often shared. "Aunt Daisy" was a strong, spirited individual. Also, Daisy was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, and sister and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Friends may visit French - University, Tuesday, November 19, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery with Randy Randall officiating. Pallbearers will be Raymond Randall, Benny Northcutt, Leonard Caldwell, Kevin Kent, L.J. Humphries, and Jason Evans. Honorary Pallbearers will be her brothers, Perry Randall and Willard Randall.
