 GARCIA, JESUS T. age 75, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday November 14th, 2013. He was born August 17th, 1938 in Las Vegas, NM to Domingo & Tomasita Garcia. Jesus is survived by his wife of 50 years, Pita Garcia; son, Walter Garcia and wife Melissa; son, James Garcia and wife Amy; daughter, Darlene Garcia; dog, Buddy; grandchildren Noah, Paige, Ariana, & Madison; sister Mary Lou Trujillo and husband Joseph; brother Frank "Poncho" Garcia; many brothers and sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Domingo & Tomasita Garcia; siblings Francisco, Manuel, Ismael, Benito, Desiderio, Moises, Johnny, & Ernesto; and Grandson Tyler Miller. Jesus worked for 17 years as a miner in Grants before moving to Albuquerque where he worked in automotive sales. Before retiring he worked part-time as a Security Guard. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved fishing, watching old western movies, reading, car shows, and time with his family. A viewing will be held on Sunday, November 16th, 2013 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Daniel's Funeral Home on Southern Blvd in Rio Rancho. A Rosary will be held Monday, November 17th, 2013 at 10:30am followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. John Vianney Catholic Parish. Interment will follow immediately at Vista Verde Cemetery.
