 CHAVEZ, PATRICIO "PAT" Age 69, a resident of Albuquerque, died on Monday, November 4, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Susan Chavez of Albuquerque, NM; son, Jonathan J. Chavez; granddaughters, Felicia and Darian; sisters, Priscilla Torres and Bernadine Chavez; brother, David Lee Chavez; and many wonderful cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Juan P. and Julia G. Chavez; son, Brian J. Chavez; and brothers, Benny Chavez, Richard Chavez, Eloy Chavez, Robert Chavez and James Chavez; and sisters, Rosie Soto and Sarah Brady. He was born in 1944 in Albuquerque and graduated from Albuquerque High, class of 1963. He also graduated from the University of Albuquerque with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. Pat served in the Air National Guard in Vietnam, and was commissioned and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after 36 years of service. He was a member of Risen Savior Catholic Church. Pat was a loving husband and father and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Rosary will be recited on Monday, November 11, 2013, 7:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, 10:00 a.m., at Risen Savior Catholic Community, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kenneth Chavez, Chris Chavez, David L. Chavez, and Harry Sanchez.
