FOSBRE, THOMAS WAYNE age 66, died Friday, October 18, 2013. He is survived by his beloved Florence; sister Victoria Panella; aunt Edith Beull; and his father Thomas. He was preceded in death by his mother Celeste. Thomas obtained a degree from Trinidad College and worked as a police officer in Colorado before being drafted in 1969 into the United States Army where he served proudly until his honorable discharge in 1991. During his tenure in the Army, Thomas served in the military police and as an artillery instructor in England, Germany and Greece. Thereafter, Thomas worked in retail and as a security officer for banks as well as transporting inmates to/from prison. In 2003, Thomas began working as a doorman for Caravan East nightclub where he remained until his untimely death. He was beloved by countless patrons, fellow employees and friends. His love, compassion and care for animals were unequaled. A public viewing will be held on Friday, October 25, 2013 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at Riverside Funeral Home, 225 San Mateo Blvd., NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. The funeral services will follow at 10:00 AM. A public reception will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 AM to Noon. Thomas will be interred at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30pm on Friday, 10/25/13.
