BARR, LILLIAN With love, we share our mothers passing on Monday, October 21, 2013, she was 86. Lillian Ester Patterson (Pat) born in Woodworth, North Dakota on September 1, 1927, she was the youngest of five children. Pat was married for 27 years, until widowed in 1979, to Harold "Curly" Barr. They traveled the southwest together, supported Father Liebra's missionary work with the Native Americans, fostered a Navajo daughter who died from injuries in a Hogan fire, baptized their daughter in Bluff, Utah at St. Christopher's Mission. They had acreage in Ponderosa, New Mexico where they refurbished an adobe cabin and spent many summers. She had four children, Jerry Lee, whose untimely death at 39, caused her great sorrow. Caroline, married to Brady Phelan with sons, Levon and Sean; Patrick married to Lynn with children, Ashley, Sara, and Kyle; Robert who lived and cared for her in the last years of her life. A stepson, Eddie his wife, Stella and children, Niko, Spencer, and Travis. She shares two great life events with sons she truly loves. Her September 1st birthday with, Patrick, and her dance into heaven with Robert's birthday, October 21st. We miss her quick wit and celebrate her life. A believer in Christ, who is now home, and suffers no more from vascular disease which kept her from enjoying simple pleasures. It is our wish you memorialize her by extending a gracious hand, a service or meal to someone in need, keeping her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
