BRANOM, CURTIS DOUGLAS Passed away peacefully at home with his family on October 23, 2013. He was 83. Born September 21, 1930 in Chicago, IL, he attended Sutherland Elementary and Morgan Park High School where he played running back on the football team. Curt graduated with a BA from the University of Illinois in 1953 and immediately served for two years in the military where he was stationed in Japan. Upon his return, he married Jane Ellen Thomas in 1956. Curt's first job with GTE/Lenkurt brought him and his family from Chicago to San Carlos, CA and finally to Albuquerque in 1970. Curt is survived by his wife, Jane; sons, Douglas Robert Branom of Albuquerque and Curtis Thomas Branom of San Francisco; grandchildren, Amanda Branom of Albuquerque and Grayson Branom of San Francisco; and sister, Shirley Paterson of Albuquerque. The family wishes to thank the entire Presbyterian Home Hospice care for their loving care to Curt. Memorial Services will be held Sunday, October 27, 2013, 2:00 p.m., at Sandia Presbyterian Church, 10704 Paseo del Norte NE, 87122.
