BARELA, YVONNE was born on March 19,1955 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the age of 58. Yvonne was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church and the biggest fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. She was a loving, big hearted wife, mother, grandma, sister, auntie and friend to everyone who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Tony Dimas Sr.; fatherin-law, Sesario Barela; motherin-law, Dorela Barela and brother Tony Dimas Jr. Yvonne is survived by her mother, Louisa Dimas; husband, Leroy Barela of 40 years; daughter, Yvette Maestas and husband, Aaron; son, Leonard Barela; grandsons, Dominik Barela and Mathew Maestas; brothers, Jerry Dimas, Don Dimas and wife Rhonda, Paul Dimas and wife Marie, Steve Dimas; sister, Debbie Dimas and other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd. NW on Thursday October 24, 2013 at 10:00am . Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW.
