MARTINEZ, WILLIAM CLAUDE William was born in Albuquerque, NM on Feb. 1, 1962 - Sept. 19, 2013. He graduated from Valley High School, was a boxer, a Dallas Cowboy fan, and worked as a transmission specialist. William survived by his son William Jr. and two daughters, Julie Lounsbury husband Charles and baby Isabella, Lisa and baby Sophia. He was preceded in death by his father Juan R. Martinez. He is survived by his mother Margaret C. Martinez; his brothers Juan Jr., Arthur and his wife Mary, Eugene, Jose and his wife Tina; his sisters Gloria Mestas and husband Sonny, Mary Joann Turner and husband Tim, Dorothy Lindfors, Elizabeth McIntyre and husband Michael, Lois, Denise Estes and husband David; girlfriend Bernie Abeyta and her son Gabriel; and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Services will be held in the Riverside Chapel at Riverside Funeral Home in Albuquerque, 225 San Mateo, Friday, Oct. 4, 2013 as follows: 9:00-10:00 am, Family Viewing; 10:00-11:00 am, Public Viewing; 11:00-12:00 noon, Prayer Service. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary in Albuquerque, 1900 Edith Blvd, NE, immediately following the Prayer Service.
