Obituary for HADLEY

HADLEY, DANIEL B. Age 62, a resident of Bernalillo, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Elizabeth A. Hadley; children, Laura Huval and husband, Glenn of Albuquerque, NM, Brian Burleigh and wife, Krystl of Roseville, California, William Burleigh and wife, Karen of Albuquerque, and Brett Burleigh of Albuquerque; three grandchildren, Isabella Rose Huval, Luke Burleigh, and Jakob Burleigh; siblings, Phillip Hadley and wife, Penny of Albuquerque, and Rebecca Smith of Indianapolis, IN.; nieces Virginia and Elizabeth; and numerous other loved ones and friends. Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Rhoda Hadley. He was born in Dayton, OH in 1950 and lived in West Milton, OH, moved to Indianapolis as a child and graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1969. Dan arrived in Albuquerque on his 21st birthday and lived in a teepee with his dog, Loretta, at the adobe yard where he made adobes. Two of Dan's greatest accomplishments were building two custom adobe homes. He loved country music, dancing, and gardening. Dan was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 27, 2013, 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Interment will take place at a later date in Wilmington, OH.
