 VALDEZ, JOSEPHINE GLORIA At age 83, Josie Valdez, went home to Our Heavenly Father on August 18, 2013. She was a truly beloved mother and grandmother. She was born on April 19, 1930 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was preceded by her husband, son, and grandson. She is survived by her children Elizabeth Valdez, Linda Gutierrez and John Valdez. She is also survived by sons-in-law Ronnie Gutierrez and David Schulte. She has four grandchildren, Raquel, Ron, Melissa and Tanya. She also has seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Saint Therese Little Flower Church on Fouth Street NW. Rosary to be held Thursday, Aug. 22nd, at 6:00 PM and the Mass to be held on Friday, Aug. 23, 2013 at 9:00 AM. Interment will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery following the service. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
