Obituary for COX

COX, MORRIS Morris passed away at age 89 on August 15, 2013. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, an uncle and good friend to all. He will be missed by all. He was born in 1924 in Picher, OK. Morris served in the Armed Forces from 1943 to 1945. He went to Western University in Silver City where he met Ann his wife of 61 years. They moved to Albuquerque in 1954 where they lived the last 59 years. He is survived by his wife; son Gary and daughter-in-law Brenda; daughter Lynnette and son-in-law Larry; three grandchildren Jason, Kendra, Kristine; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Morris enjoyed the RV life traveling the country with family and friends. He loved rock hunting, western movies, books, and water skiing. Morris loved to water ski and was still skiing on one ski at the age of 88. Morris will be laid to rest at Ft. Bayard, NM. "Memories will always keep him near to all the hearts that loved him".
