MCGOLDRICK, JANE ROBINSON Dr. Jane Robinson McGoldrick, age 64, of Corrales, slipped away quietly in her sleep on August 10, 2013. Jane was born on September 3, 1948 in Monongahela, PA to William H. and Margaret T. Robinson and graduated from its high school in 1966. She attended Agnes Scott College graduating with a BA in English in 1970, and continued on at the University of Chicago to earn a Masters Degree in 1971. Jane was both an author and editor of children's books and magazines, the most well known being National Geographic's World Magazine and "Animal Clowns". She also edited many National Art Collection books. Her prize work being the "United States Senate Catalogue of Fine Art" and "Art in the White House: A Nation's Pride". However realizing her true calling was in healing, she changed directions and went on to earn a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University in 2002. This turned out to be her life-calling and best work. She opened her own practice in Albuquerque and continued to heal people until her passing. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Larry McGoldrick; her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Debra McGoldrick; grandson, Caleb McGoldrick; and her brother, William T. Robinson. She will always be remembered as a loving and caring person, gracious host, and for her ability to create a household full of love and life for her family and friends. Jane was huge-hearted, beautiful, funny, brilliant, adventurous, and spiritual. Even just thinking of her makes one feel lighter and always will. Please participate in a Memorial of Remembrance for Jane McGoldrick on Thursday, August 15th, at 2:00 pm to celebrate her amazing life at St. Paul's United Church of Christ. No flowers please. A trust fund will be setup in the near future to support her favorite project. St. Paul's United Church of Christ 1650 Abrazo Rd NE Rio Rancho, NM 87124
