 ATWOOD, MARGARET F. Age 95, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013. She is survived by her son, Charles O. Atwood and wife, Ann of Albuquerque, NM; grandsons, Gregory Atwood and Christopher Atwood; sister-in-law, Wanda Gard; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Atwood was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Atwood; parents, Orrmond and Mary Gard; step-mother, Elizabeth Gard; and brother, John Gard. Margaret retired from US West (Mountain Bell). She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. Cremation has taken place and a memorial mass for family and friends will be celebrated on Friday, August 9, 2013, 10:30 a.m., at Gate of Heaven Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, with Fr. Michael Cimino, Celebrant. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
