KEEKER, ANNA ELIZABETH Age 78, of Albuquerque, died on July 31, 2013. She was born on May 21, 1935 in Washington, D.C. Ann graduated from Iowa State University and received a BS in Applied Art in 1957. She married her husband, Maury in 1957 and they lived together in the Midwest before relocating to Albuquerque in 2001. Ann had an early career as an editor at TV Guide in Minneapolis. She was an active alumni member in her college sorority Gamma Phi Beta. She enjoyed her many friends in the Four Hills neighborhood and participated in the bridge, gourmet, garden and book clubs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maury and granddaughter, Emily Till. Ann is survived by her daughters, Betsy (Ty) Till of Los Lunas and Sarah (Rick) Wyckoff of Colorado Springs; grandchildren, Charles and Andrew Till; sister-in-law, Pamela Burnell (Dick) and nieces, Kathy Fisher (Landrum) and Julie Pike (Chris). Services are scheduled for Monday, August 12, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friends of the Public Library. A private family inurnment will be held at Ames Municipal Cemetery in Ames, Iowa at a later date.
