VAROZ, JOSE ABDON Age 92, of Santa Fe, was called by our Lord, Monday, July 15, 2013. Jose was a very loving, caring, and humorous gentleman who enjoyed music, dancing, fishing, spending time with his family, and was a man of great faith. He is survived by his children, Cynthia (Ed) Weiler, Philip (Peg) Varoz, Gloria (Jack) Whitaker, Martha (Mark) Ewing, Agnes Varoz, Judy (Steve) Long, Joseph (Stephanie) Varoz; numerous grand and great-grandchildren. Jose was preceded in death by his parents, Belarmino Varoz and Reynalda Gonzalez Varoz; wife, Eloisa Trujillo Varoz; daughter, Loretta Jean Varoz; and brothers, Benino, Amarante, Roman, Maximiliano, Aniceto, and Lauriano. He retired after 36 years of service with Los Alamos National Laboratory. Jose was a member of Santa Maria de la Paz. Rosary will be recited Friday, July 19, 2013, 9:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd. NE. Celebration of the Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
