CHAVEZ, AUORA ELIZABETH Age 78, a lifelong resident of Los Ranchos NM passed away after an extended illness. She will be missed by all that knew her. Liz loved gardening, cooking, traveling and caring for children in her younger years. She is survived by her brothers Jerry Chavez, Orlando and Barbara Chavez, Al and Rosina Chavez, sister Lorraine Gonzales, and several nieces and nephews, and god children. She was preceded in death by her parents Gilbert and Genevieve Chavez, her brother Tommy Chavez, and her longtime companion Amarante Garcia. Tia Liza we will all miss your feisty temperament, strong will and love of life, rest in peace. A rosary will be recited on Friday, July 19, 2013, at 9:30 am at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Strong-Thorne Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque. Followed by a funeral ceremony at 10:00 am. Burial will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery following the service.
