TAYLOR, ALICE G. was born May 15, 1921 in Alamosa, Colorado. She went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, in Albuquerque, where she resided for over 60 years. She was a well known and respected teacher, who taught spanish, math and english in the Los Lunas School System for 42 years. Alice enjoyed bowling, crafts, working around the house and venturing out on little excursions. She especially loved her variety of music. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Domatila Gonzales; husband, Ralph Taylor; three brothers, Herbert, Jerry and Arthur Gonzales; one sister, Bertha Borrego. Alice is survived by her two children, Yvonne Lemmel and husband, Gary and Cheryl Taylor; sister, Mary Cruz; brother, Arnold Gonzales as well as many nieces, nephews, beloved pets and other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church, 8901 Candelaria Rd. NE. on Monday, July 15, 2013. A Rosary will be recited at 8:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:15am. A Reception to follow at the Church Parish Hall. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
