 TORRES, MARY G. age 86, a resident of Albuquerque, born March 24, 1927, passed away on July 5, 2013. Mrs. Torres is survived by her children, Catherine Leyba and husband, Ernest; Josie Lovato and husband, Eugene, Rick Torres, Judy Feldman and husband, Marty, Debra Torres and partner, Adele, Helen Garcia and husband, Jerry; fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sisters in law, Stella Torres, Clara Torres; loving friends, Crusita Mora, Patricia Fairchild, Liz Vigil, Jimmy Bryant, Viola Montoya, Fr. Manuel Mendez; many other extended family members. Mrs. Torres was preceded in death by her husband, Andres L. Torres; son, Andy Torres Jr.; parents, Natividad and Catalina Garcia; son in law, Bob Devore. Mrs. Torres was a member of the Catholic Church, Missionary of Mercy Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity, Legion of Mary, Sacred Heart League, Eucharistic Adorer, Prayer Warrior and a Eucharistic Minister. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 9, 2013 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by the Legion of Mary at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Joseph Pl. NW. Final visitation will be on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Committal Service will be Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 11:15 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Mora, Jimmy Bryant, Amadeo Gallegos, David Lovato, Adam Alvarez and Mike Vigil. "To my wonderful son-in-law and caregiver, Gene Lovato, thank you. La Gorda."
