GARCIA, JOSE T. age 91, was born in Magdalena, NM, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on July 5, 2013 at home with his loving family at his side. Mr. Garcia is survived by his children, Patricia Sanchez, Marcella Garcia Estrada and husband, Frank, Roberta Garcia Aguilar and husband, Manuel, and Jerry Garcia; sisters, Vicky Lopez and Erlinda Garcia; brothers, Andy Garcia, Eddie Garcia and wife, Lucy; twelve grandchildren; thirty-nine great- grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; many extended family members. Mr. Garcia was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Garcia; daughter, Bernadette, son, Joey Garcia; and daughter, Loretta Garcia. Mr. Garcia was a member of the Catholic Church, a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during WWII, employee of City of Albuquerque, a Deputy with the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department, and retired from the U.S. Postal Service from 1985. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 9, 2013 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m. by Barbara Perez; Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m., Deacon Manuel Montoya, presider. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Garcia, Manuel Aguilar, Andre Nevarez, Jeramie Nevarez, Edward Garcia, and Daniel Martinez.
