CORDOVA, CELIA age 93, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on June 14, 2013 at home with her loving family at her side. Mrs. Cordova is survived by her children, Mary R. Garcia and Art; Frances T. Vallez; Patricia L. Kardeen and husband, William; Juanita Cordova; Joseph A. Cordova and wife, Julie; Louise Cordova; George Cordova and wife, Denise; Lucille Cordova; Richard Leo Cordova and wife, Helen; sisters in law, Lala Gutierrez and Ninfa Cordova; fourteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchidlren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Cordova was preceded in death by her husband, Jose E. Cordova; and many brothers, sisters, and in-laws. Visitation will be Monday, June 17, 2013, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW by a Franciscan Friar. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Armijo, Harry Garcia, Daniel Chavez, Ray Gutierrez, Peter Tapia, and Steve Cordova. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Cordova, Ronnie Cordova, Larry Duran, Leo Floyd Cordova and David Baca. The family would like to thank the staff from Gentiva Hospice for their kindness.
