Obituary for SIPILI

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Wednesday May 01, 2013

SIPILI, ZACKARY was called home to our Lord on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 after losing his battle with cancer. In his short 19 years on earth he touched many lives with his contagious smile and positive attitude. He is survived by his parents Peter and Becky Sipili; a very special long-time girlfriend, Ashli Sparks, who cared for and loved him to the end; biological mother, Jeannine Chavez; aunt Rosemary Benavidez; uncle, Leonard Baca and wife, Anita; cousins, Monika Benavidez, Brigette Leyva, Jessica Baca, Audrey Benavidez, and second cousins Santiago Miramontes, and Marcel Leyva. Zack had a sensitive and kind heart, a great sense of humor, and was always the life of the party. He traveled to many places in the world. He loved making music, an art he had a great talent for, and dreamed of big success in the future. He will be missed every minute of every day. A celebration of his life will be held at the Sheraton Airport Hotel, 2910 Yale Blvd. S.E. on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 7:00pm. Services will take place at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Ave. N.W. on Friday, May 3, 2013. A Rosary will be recited at 9:30am with a Mass being celebrated at 10:00am. Burial will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:45pm, a place he found peaceful and respectful. He left us too soon and we look forward to seeing him on the other side with God at his side. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. N.W. ABQ. 505-343-8008.
