 TAPIA, HENRY Age 71, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on May 28, 1941, to Eluterio and Sofia Chavez Tapia. A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM and member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Eluterio Tapia; mother, Sofia Tapia; son, Henry George Tapia. Henry is survived by wife, Sylvia Tapia of Albuquerque, NM; son, Paul Tapia and wife Stephanie Tapia of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Marisa, Megan and Paul Luke; son, Robert Armando Tapia of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Kristina, Dominica and Derek; mother-in-law, Connie Sanchez; father-in-law, George Duran. The family wishes to thank the staff of Vista Care Hospice for their wonderful care and support. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday, May 1, 2013, 7:00 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd NW, Albuquerque. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 2, 2013, 9:00 am, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd NW, Albuquerque. Pallbearers will be Paul Luke Tapia, Derek Tapia, Rudy Sanchez, Eddie Candelaria, Lorenzo Ramirez, Michael Tapia. Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
