ALMASI, HAROLD M. Age 93, of Los Alamos, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2013 at Aspen Ridge Lodge. He was a longtime resident of the Chicago area and serviced the city as a truck driver. He served in the Army as Staff Sergeant in Alaska and Europe during World War II. He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen (Peterson) of Orland Park, IL; his son, Michael (Faith) of Abiquiu, NM; brother, Richard (Jean) Almasi; sisters-in-law, Rose Almasi and Frances Chiarelli. He is grandfather of Amanda, Annie (Dave) Gerlach, and Eric (Kathy) Almasi. He is great-grandfather to Joshua and Ryleigh Almasi and Skylar Gerlach. He is uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Mary; his wife of 61 years, Catherine (Mangan); son-in-law, Donald Peterson; brother, Ray Almasi; and sister, Irene (Scott).
