 VIGIL, JOE NELSON Loving husband, father, son, grandfather, great- grandfather, brother, uncle and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, March 29, 2013 at the age of 92. He was born in Youngsville, NM. Joe adored his family and loved spending time with them. He enjoyed fishing, camping and was proud of being a Catholic. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Ermalinda Maria Vigil; daughter Carolina Blauw; and sons Tony and Tommy Vigil. Joe is survived by his children Orlando Vigil, Ralph Vigil, Mark Vigil, Chris Vigil, Dorothy Delgadillo and Mary Ann Smith; his sisters Martha Gonzales-Warner, Theresa Armijo, Sophie Robinson, Lugarda Serrano, Louise Tilden; ten grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends. A Visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Garcia Mortuary~Chapel of Angels, 717 Stover Ave. SW, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Church, Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 11:00 am; Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 pm. Pallbearers are Tommy Vigil, Andrew Vigil, Isaac Vigil, Luke Vigil, Matthew Delgadillo and Flash Yosif Deitz. Honorary Pallbearer is Adrian Degus. Joe will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
