ZAMORA, ABEL ALBERT Abel was born July 4, 1926 in Albuquerque, NM and passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Abel and Beatrice Zamora and sister, Mercedes Archibeque. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Joyce; his sister, Kate (Epifanio) Mares; his children, Michael (Deborah) Zamora and Mary (Berwyn) Brown; and 14 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Abel served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was employed with the U.S. Forest Service for over 30 years and then with Black Hills Aviation in Alamogordo, NM, where he resided for over 40 years. He was a devout Christian and served as a Deacon for the Seventh Day Adventist Church. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 15, 2013 at 11:00 am at FRENCH - Wyoming.
