Obituary for LANG

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Saturday March 09, 2013

LANG, DUANE L. 92, died February 28, 2013. Our uncle Red moved to Albuquerque in 1947 after the war to enjoy the clear dry air, sunny climate, mountains and fishing. He skied until he was 85 and never stopped fishing. He was an outdoorsman through and through. He was preceded in death by his three sisters: Angel Troy, Ummy Myers and Beany Trombetta, and two nephews, Marty Trombetta and Mike Beach. He will be remembered very fondly by his remaining nieces and nephews: Su, Lin, Pim and Marcy Troy; Tom, Cindy and Peter Myers; and Martha, Beany and Mike Trombetta and all their progeny. A memorial service will take place in Rutland, VT in August. Please remember our uncle with a donation to Trout Unlimited, PO Box 7400, Woolly Bugger WV 25438-7400. Red was truly the last of his kind!
