KESNER, MITCHELL Age 96, a 54-year resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, February 15, 2013. Born in Old Town, Maine, he moved to Worcester, Massachusetts where he grew up. Mitchell attended Clark University after high school and graduated from Syracuse University. He was drafted into the US Army and served 5 years before his honorable discharge as a Captain. Mitchell is survived by his wife of 65 years, Leah Kesner; sons, Alan S. Kesner, David G. Kesner and wife, Kathi, son, Ben B. Kesner and wife, Mary; grandchildren, Zachary, Rebecca, Jacob, Michael and Daniel; and many other family and friends including his sister Bertha Mann. Mr. Kesner was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Bessie Kesner and four siblings. He was a member of B'nai Israel Synagogue for 54 years. Services will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2013, 2:00 pm at B'nai Israel Synagogue, 4401 Indian School Rd NE. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
