Obituary for PIKE

PIKE, HARRY H. passed away on Monday, February 11, 2013 at the age of 80. Harry was born in Cambridge, Ma, to Mr and Mrs. Charles H. Pike on Oct. 25, 1932. He attended Somerville High School. Upon graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. After completing his tour of duty he attended Wentworth Institute in Boston, where he earned his degree in Electrical Engineering. On August 10, 1957 he married his sweetheart, Kay-Marilyn Hansen of South Coventry, CT. They raised four wonderful children, Leslea Hurt (husband John), Charles (wife Rebecca), Stacy Tucker (husband Mike), Jennifer Alvis (husband John). They were proud grandparents of 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved sister, Nancy Scott. He was active in St. Paul's United Methodist Church, where he sang in the church choir, and served on various committees. Services will be held on Friday February 15, 2013, 2:00pm at St. Paul's U.M.C. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Music Dept. of St. Paul's U.M.C.
