MARTINEZ, BENNY of Corrales, NM passed away peacefully in his home on February 12, 2013. Benny was born on September 25, 1937. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Alice Gallegos-Martinez; his parents Felicita and Jacobo Martinez; and a sister Maria Torrez. He is survived by sisters, Odelia Torrez and Joann Trujillo (Tino); brothers, Pete (Bertha), Juan, Lizardo, Carlos, Gilbert (Veita), Rudy (Eileen); numerous nieces, nephews, step-grand and step-great - grandchildren; and a very special grandson Juan Gallegos. A viewing will be held on Saturday February 16, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW. Cremation will take place followed by a Mass on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 9:00 AM at St. Therese Church, 300 Mildred Ave. NW. Burial immediately following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
